He has extensive trial experience and numerous precedent-setting verdicts on behalf of individuals who have suffered traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord trauma, serious orthopedic injuries, psychological injuries and those who have lost loved ones.
He has published extensively in the areas of personal injury law and trial advocacy, including as co-author of the chapter on municipal liability in the Oatley McLeish Guide to Personal Injury Practice in Motor Vehicle Cases. Tim is a former Director of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA), where he has chaired many important committees, including Access to Justice. He is involved in a number of community activities, including the Lids on Kids program sponsored by his firm to provide bicycle helmets for children from disadvantaged backgrounds in York Region.

Darcy Romaine is a trial lawyer for the seriously injured. He has won trials where liability is complex and where the injuries involve catastrophic brain injury, complicated orthopaedic injury, and severe burn injury.
Professionally, he is best known for his trials involving municipal negligence and his courtroom efforts to have regulations governing municipality maintenance obligations struck for providing unsafe and inadequate levels of care to the motoring public.
Darcy is a current director of the York Region Law Association. From 2010 – 2017, he was a director of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA). In 2015 he was selected as OTLA’s representative to review Ontario’s proposed Protocol for Traffic Injury Management, to question the research scientists who authored the protocol, and to make submissions to the provincial government.

Erin has over 25 years of personal injury experience. Erin was called to the Bar in 1993 after obtaining her undergraduate degree at Queen’s University and her law degree from the University of Windsor. Erin joined Boland Romaine in 1999 after practicing with a respected Toronto personal injury litigation firm.
Erin restricts her practice to serious personal injury claims, wrongful death claims, accident benefits claims and disability insurance claims.
She is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Bar Association, the Advocates Society and the York Region Law Association.
Michael Connolly is a strategic and creative lawyer. He joined Boland Romaine LLP after practicing at an award-winning Toronto insurance litigation firm, where he defended insurance companies, motorists, property owners, and medical professionals in personal injury lawsuits.
The fulfillment of helping policyholders, rather than their insurers, inspired him to commit his practice to representing seriously injured individuals through the litigation process. Capitalizing on his defence experience, Michael builds his cases to anticipate what insurers and defence lawyers will do, and mount an effective offensive response.
Michael received his J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2019 and was called to the Ontario bar in 2020. Michael obtained a Bachelor of Music from the University of Toronto and a Masters in Musicology from the University of British Columbia.
