News: Pedestrian struck and killed by TTC bus after exiting subway station

A pedestrian has died after being struck by a Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) bus in the city's west end. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. on December 10, 2024, near Bloor Street West and Ossington Avenue. The male victim was transported to a trauma center in life-threatening condition but later succumbed to his injuries.

The circumstances surrounding the collision are currently under investigation by Toronto police. In response to the tragedy, ATU Local 113, the union representing TTC operators, extended condolences to the victim's family and loved ones.
