Highway 11 northbound by Huntsville closed after crash

On January 29, 2025, at approximately 8:00 a.m., a collision occurred between a passenger car and a commercial motor vehicle on Highway 11 northbound at Highway 60 in Huntsville. The female driver of the car sustained significant injuries and was transported to the hospital.

As a result of the incident, Highway 11 northbound was closed at Ravenscliffe Road, with traffic being rerouted through the town towards Highway 60. The northbound ramps from Muskoka Road 2 onto Highway 11 were also closed.

The Ontario Provincial Police's Technical Collision Investigation unit responded to the scene to investigate the circumstances of the crash. All lanes of Highway 11 have since reopened.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution and remain alert for any further updates or changes to road conditions.
