News: highway collision in Caledon, Ont.

The Ontario Provincial Police reported that officers and emergency responders attended a collision on Highway 10 shortly before midnight on Friday.

The driver and sole occupant of one vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. Two individuals from a second vehicle sustained serious injuries and were transported to a trauma centre in the Toronto area.

Additionally, two occupants of a third vehicle were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Highway 10 was partially closed for several hours as authorities conducted their investigation.
