NEWS: Pedestrian seriously injured after hit-and-run near Evergreen Brickworks

A pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by a hit-and-run driver near Evergreen Brickworks on Wednesday evening.
Toronto police responded to the collision near Bayview Avenue and Pottery Road shortly after 6:30 p.m. Paramedics transported the victim, an adult, to a local trauma center with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
Officers also added that the driver did not remain on scene.
Bayview Avenue is closed at Bloor Street and drivers should consider alternate travel routes while police investigate the scene.
