Unidentified woman dies after being ejected from vehicle during Pickering rollover crash

A tragic single-vehicle accident occurred in Pickering early Wednesday morning, resulting in the death of a young woman and injuries to three others. The crash took place on Brock Road, between Highway 7 and Pickering Concession 7, when a black 2018 Audi sedan traveling southbound lost control, left the roadway, and struck a large tree.
The vehicle was occupied by four individuals, including the driver, identified as 20-year-old Sohaib Abdallah Lounes from Quebec. Two occupants were ejected during the collision. A female passenger, estimated to be between 18 and 22 years old, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and two other occupants sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Toronto-area trauma centers.
Lounes has been arrested and faces multiple charges, including Dangerous Operation Causing Death, two counts of Dangerous Operation Causing Bodily Harm, Possession of an Electronic Device for the Purpose of Committing Motor Vehicle Theft, and Possession of Break-and-Enter Instruments.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have closed the area to collect evidence. The cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
