Woman charged with careless driving after pedestrian struck and killed in North York

The driver, operating a grey 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe, made a right turn onto Keele Street and struck a 34-year-old man attempting to cross the road. The victim was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The driver remained at the scene, and on January 29, 2025, she was charged with careless driving causing death.
